Equipment: All campers should bring: bat, helmet, cleats, glove, sunscreen, and a snack/lunch. Lunches can be purchased through the camp for $7 (price is subject to change). Please ensure campers names are on all their belongings!

Directions: Directions to the field can be found on www.gomason.com. Click on “Athletics” and then “Facilities”

Accommodations: This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing accommodations

George Mason Head Coach Joe Verbanic welcomes you to register for this summer’s Softball Camps! Camps will focus on the fundamentals of all aspects of the game including proper throwing mechanics, increasing arm strength, defensive fundamentals (IF, OF, pitching & catching), swing mechanics & base running.

Players of all ability levels are welcome. Campers divided by age & ability level.

We have assembled a veteran group of coaches experienced in camp instruction & dedicated to helping each camper become a better softball player.

Camps are open to any and all participants within the specified age range.

Sample Daily Schedule

9:00am: Check in

9:15am: Stations/Skill instruction

11:00am: Speaker/Lecture

11:30am: LUNCH

12:15pm: Warm up

12:30pm: Position play/Skill instruction

1:00pm: Scrimmages

3:00pm: Pick up

Marshalltown Community College Softball Camp- Iowa- Jan. 28, 2018



The MCC Softball Program is offering a unique opportunity for softball players to improve their skills. Participants will work with MCC softball coaches and players to personalize an off-season workout that includes techniques and drills used by the NJCAA Division I MCC Tigers.

Camp is on Sunday, Jan. 28. Skills Session 1: (5 yr-10 yr) Noon-2 pm; Pitching Session (All Ages) 2:15-3:15 pm; and Skills Session 2: (11 yr-16 yr) 3:30-5:30 pm.

Cost is $40 for skills sessions and $20 for the pitching session.

Work with the MCC Softball Coaching staff to build an off-season plan to become a better player. You will develop an individualized plan for: Strength and Conditioning, Speed and Agility, Hitting, Fielding, Catching and Pitching. Use this plan to have an effective off-season of tangible improvement! See improvement from session to session and add new drills to continue seeing progress.

Ball State Softball To Host Pair of Winter Camps

Muncie, Indiana- Ball State softball will host the Cardinals Winter Skills Camp Dec. 2 (athletes ages 12-22) and the Cardinals All Skills Camp Jan. 13 (athletes ages 12-22).

The Cardinals Winter Skills Camp is designed to provide players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. The camp is run by the full-time Ball State Softball coaching staff, as well as current players. Check-in takes place between 8:15 and 9:00 AM and the camp itself runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for hitting and fielding, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for pitchers.
