Marshalltown Community College Softball Camp- Iowa- Jan. 28, 2018



The MCC Softball Program is offering a unique opportunity for softball players to improve their skills. Participants will work with MCC softball coaches and players to personalize an off-season workout that includes techniques and drills used by the NJCAA Division I MCC Tigers.

Camp is on Sunday, Jan. 28. Skills Session 1: (5 yr-10 yr) Noon-2 pm; Pitching Session (All Ages) 2:15-3:15 pm; and Skills Session 2: (11 yr-16 yr) 3:30-5:30 pm.

Cost is $40 for skills sessions and $20 for the pitching session.

Work with the MCC Softball Coaching staff to build an off-season plan to become a better player. You will develop an individualized plan for: Strength and Conditioning, Speed and Agility, Hitting, Fielding, Catching and Pitching. Use this plan to have an effective off-season of tangible improvement! See improvement from session to session and add new drills to continue seeing progress.

Long Beach State softball has announced that the program will be holding an additional showcase clinic to be held on Saturday, December 16.

Long Beach State Head Coach Kim Sowder and the Long Beach State softball program will add an additional showcase clinic following three which were held over the summer. Space in each showcase camp is limited to 52 participants, and is open to any and all high school and community college players interested in pursuing softball at the Division I level.

Training and instruction at the showcase camps will follow the same methods and facilities used by the successful Long Beach State program, and will offer both skill and game evaluation.

The showcase will comprise of two sessions running back to back from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A morning or an afternoon session will be assigned to each participant.


Camps are staffed by Long Beach State Softball coaches. They pride themselves in playing the game the right way. It is this philosophy and tradition that has led Long Beach State to be one of the top college softball programs in the country.


Open to any and all high school and community college aged players interested in playing softball at the DI level.

Auburn Tigers Softball Winter Camp- Dec. 27-30, 2017


AUBURN, Ala. – Head coach Mickey Dean and the Auburn softball program have opened registration for the 2017 Winter All-Skills Camp. The inaugural camp is set for Dec. 27-30 at Jane B. Moore Field.

The camp will be put on by Coach Dean and his staff, including associate head coach Gerry Glasco and assistant coach Annie Smith, as well as members of the Auburn softball program.

Combined, the coaching staff has guided 154 all-conference selections, 107 all-region honorees, and 25 All-Americans, including one national player of the year.

Instruction each day will be a progression from the day before and each day will be different, so it is recommended that campers attend all four days.

Campers are required to fill out the specific camp medical form or have proof of a physical less than one year old. Either choice requires a physician’s signature.

Campers also need to provide a copy of insurance card (front and back). Both items must be received within 14 days of camp.

Camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Muncie, Indiana- Ball State softball will host the Cardinals Winter Skills Camp Dec. 2 (athletes ages 12-22) and the Cardinals All Skills Camp Jan. 13 (athletes ages 12-22).

The Cardinals Winter Skills Camp is designed to provide players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. The camp is run by the full-time Ball State Softball coaching staff, as well as current players. Check-in takes place between 8:15 and 9:00 AM and the camp itself runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for hitting and fielding, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for pitchers.

Cost: $150 per participant

Ages: HS Graduation Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022


Event will include Athletic Testing (from AthPro360) during the morning session and a college camp in the afternoon. Morning session will be broken into two sessions, which are 8:00AM and 9:30AM for testing. Graduation classes of 2021 and 2022 will be tested in the 8:00AM slot and 2019 and 2020 in the 9:30 slot. The college camp portion will start promptly at 11:45 with welcome and introductions.

Waiver will be required and part of the registration for the event.

This camp will include instruction from college coaches. Participants can expect roughly a 15-to-1 ratio of college coaches to camp attendees. A list of colleges represented at this camp are listed below.

Purpose: Our clinics are built for you to meet college coaches, interact with them allowing an opportunity for you to get to know them and them to get to know you in addition to learning more about the game and advancing your techniques. This is an opportunity to not only show your softball skills but your personality too. The camp will include a warm up followed by a progression on defense which includes glove work, footwork; throwing and position play for infielders and outfielders in there groups. Pitchers and catchers are separated into their own groups to work there individual skills in the morning and then working together. After a break the second half of the day is all about HITTING rotating around to different stations and hearing the coaches’ talk about their philosophy on hitting and their favorite drill for you to do.
