SOFTBALL HAPPENINGS- 2013 ASA 18u Gold National Championship
2013 ASA 18u Gold National Championship to be hosted by Clearwater, Florida.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK- The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) has announced that Clearwater, Florida will host the 2013 18u Gold National Championship.
The long running Gold National Championship changes locations from the east to the west with Oklahoma City hosting every other year. In 2012 the popular Gold Championship will be back in Oklahoma City. The 18u Gold age division is highly respected and well known for attracting some of the best fastpitch teams in the country.
The 2013 championship tournament in Clearwater, Florida will take place July 21-27, 2013 at the Eddie C. Moore Complex. The complex, which is spread out over three locations, has nine fields, batting tunnels and ample space for warm-ups. The facility has been host to the USA Softball Women’s National Team and a number of collegiate tournaments as well.
