Aug.6- So Cal Athletics win back to back championships in the 2011 PGF 18HS National title game.
In a game that saw the lead go back and forth, the 8-7 victory over the Worth Firecrackers was not decided until the bottom of the 7th with two outs.
Bottom of 7, Athletics down by one run and with two outs are up to bat... batter Jenna Kelly (North Carolina) draws a walk. Next batter, Aubree Munro (Florida) hits a wobbler in the 4-3 hole for a single. Two on. Jasmine Smithson (Louisville) is up next and gets hit by pitch...the bases are loaded. Danica Mercado (Oregon) is up for the A's and hits a single shot up the middle and two runs score.

April, 2011- PGF Secures Television Contract-
Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) has announced a TV contract agreement with Comcast SportsNet and Fox Sports. The national broadcast will televise the upcoming 2011 High School Division Championship game this August.
PGF is continuing to work on expanding their forms of media to cover other age division championships.
